“Famine” disguises a highly contested subject in the form of bold corporate sponsorship. Greed and apathy are embodied to characterise the contentious merger of pharmaceutical and agro-chemical giants Bayer and Monsanto exposing the obvious threat that conglomeration will result in. Still, on a grander scale in the midst of such global economic dissent and myriad of extreme financial displacement leaving billions in poverty, our planet and the species whom inhabit it - not least ourselves - are unequivocally and perhaps ironically, the victims of such industry and progress.
